Storm Kids Presents Sacred Hearts – Comic Book Spotlight

We’ve covered several comic books from Storm King Productions over the last year, and of all the Storm Kid’s prints we’ve talked about I will admit Sacred Hearts is probably the most adult of the bunch, but frankly one of the best.

This comic is aimed at children ages 12 and up, and trust me do not dabble below it.

The book starts off with a dark tale to set the mood of the book before it delves into the introduction of our characters. Three children of varying personalities allow your young child to identify with them. What starts off for them as a slice of life’s everyday adventure pulls them into an occult world where the Devil is not just an idea, but a living breathing entity with agency in their world.

Without spoiling the story, the print focuses on a family’s pact with the devil, which once broken forces one of its members to be forever hunted by monsters in the forest.

Told throughout 142 pages, this book has a couple of gruesome panels, but at the end of the day the message is sweet, and it has a happy ending. Steve Niles does an amazing job writing a beautiful story, made even better by the impressive art of Nat Jones.

If you are looking for a fun and beautifully created a comic book that teaches that not all those who are scary are evil, then you should pre-order Sacred Hearts from Storm King Productions Here!
