LINKFLOW Wearable Cameras Improving On-Site Safety

During CES earlier in the year, we covered the FITT360 camera system from LINKFLOW, and to be honest were very impressed, see our article Here, and were definitely interested to see what more they will do with it.

While during the convention they talked about social media, we didn’t expect this awesome turn in use, which can be instrumental in helping prevent workplace accidents on the job.

In South Korea, on average, 2,000 people die every year in the workplace. To combat this issue Korean government and corporations, namely MOLIT and HULAN, have partnered with LINKFLOW to help promote a smart safety system to prevent future on-site accidents.

With the use of NEXX360 as a way to provide real-time 360-degree videos transmitted to be reviewed, they can prevent future accidents by being to review what is causing accidents, and be used as a mobile CCTV system to prevent accidents before, or as they are about to happen.

In the USA 5,250 workers died on the job in 2018, so we can only hope that technology like this will be implemented here as well in the future.
