Crunchyroll Goes Virtual For Expo


Virtual Crunchyroll Expo just shared the third wave of guests for their virtual convention, see the names here:

  • Yasutaka Yamamoto, the director (Noblesse)
  • Tarusuke Shingaki, voice actor (Noblesse)
  • Daisuke Hirakawa, voice actor (Noblesse)
  • Rian Tachibana, voice actor (Crunchyroll-Hime)
  • Matt Schley, the writer (The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter)
  • Sunghoo Park, the director (The God of High School)
  • Setta, the creative designer (The God of High School)
  • Manabu Akita, the character designer (The God of High School)
  • Tatsumaru Tachibana, who voices Jin Mori (The God of High School)
  • As part of the festivities of the convention, a virtual scavenger hunt will be held by Onyx Equinox, and winners will be able to gain tickets to the next Crunchyroll Expo, and a year of Crunchyroll Premium.

    Additionally, the convention announces a special musical act and performance from Myth & Roid.

    Still not interested, wow you are a tough customer… Well, how about Cosplay? Oh yea, I knew that would pique your interest. Well, Crunchyroll Expo is bringing their Cosplay Cup back in a virtual way!

    Right now the hosts of the event are Mario Bueno and Vampy Bit Me, and have only announced two of their four judges, Rock M. Sakura, Kamui Cosplay, Creature of Habit, and God Save the Queen. The Cosplay Cup takes place on the Saturday during the expo, September 5, 2020. If you want to participate you need to register before July 26, 2020… THATS ONLY A COUPLE DAYS! You better get to it and register Here.

    All of this awesome is taking place on September 4th, through September 6th this year (2020)!
