Game Like Critical Role With This Sourcebook!

    UPDATE
    Tal’Dorei Reborn is NOW AVAILABLE!
Find out where to get Darrington Press’s new book from their Guild stores (list here) and Critical Role shops.

If you like D&D it’s likely that you’ve come across Critical Role in the past. However, if you wanted to play a quest in Tal’Dorei you’d be sad to find it hard to find a sourcebook for the world. With that in mind Critical Role is officially releasing a revised and reborn copy of their Tal’Dorei Sourcebook!

The book will feature improved character options and brand new lore to enjoy while gaming. The original Tal’Dorei sourcebook was out-of-print, but this version will update and expand it with new creatures, subclasses, magic items, and has been re-designed to fit with the 5th edition ruleset. No need to homebrew adjustments to fit the new game!

If you simply like pretty pictures, the book has you covered as well since the book also has a hundred or so new art pieces added to it!

This book is bein put together by Critical Role and Darrington Press thanks to Matthew Mercer, Hannah Rose, and James J. Haeck, and will be available in late 2021 to early 2022 depending on some factors.

The book is over 280 pages and includes these features:

  • Story hooks to aid in the construction of your campaign.
  • Guides to the major regions of Tal’Dorei.
  • Creatures featured in Critical Role.
  • 5 character backgrounds.
  • 9 subclasses options.
  • New magic items.
  • The book will first be released at Darrington Press and Critical Role shops, before being released in other gaming stores. The benefit of buying the book from Critical Role shops though is that it comes with the PDF with book purchase. That is the only way to get the book in PDF, as normal gaming stores however will only include the physical book, and it will not be sold online as PDF only.

Additionally though, if you want a bigger experience, Beadle & Grimm’s’s will be releasing a deluxe book with player handouts, battle maps, a Game Master screen, and more.
