Highlights From CEATEC 2021

We dove into some new and amazing tech showcased during CEATEC this year, and we were impressed! So we have a couple we wanted to spotlight below!

Parity Innovations Co. Ltd.

Do you watch Iron Man and think the tech of Tony Stark is so far from humanly possible? Not for the people at Parity Innovations. They have created a display technology that looks like it was ripped right out of Stark Labs.

The Parity Mirror is a device that can create a floating image, that will serve as a basis for even more tech. On top of not needing specialty glasses, unlike AR technology, this tech will allow displays to be provided without the need for additional screens or accessories.

However, having the item in the air in front of you isn’t enough if you can’t manipulate it. So Parity Innovations thought of that when they paired it with smart finger position sensing software.

LOOVIC Inc.

Technology gives us the ability to have a map on our phones and guide ourselves through new and amazing places, but it requires us to guide ourselves through places on our phones, and miss where we are. A true detriment to the beauty of traveling to new places.

Now LOOVIC has a solution, with a wrist-based device paired to your phone which will use haptic feedback to guide you through the world. The bracelet-type device is designed to be similar to the sensation of being guided by your arm to your destination.

When you need directions, get lost in the landscape, not in your phone.

Remote Cheerer

Made in combination with Yamaha, and with the current world that we are stuck with, in mind, the Remote Cheerer allows fans who can’t go out in public to still feel like they are there, and show support to the athletes or performers that they love!

With an app, people can watch along and activate the App to send their love to the physical location. Additionally, people on the App can interact with other users. The event host can partner with the App, set up linked speakers to be activated by the App, and can limit App use only to those watching the content. How can they do that? Thanks to a tone on the content that would activate the App. No bandwagoning from people not even there!

We can’t wait and hope to see this used in smaller formats for podcasts, plays, or any small form contributors in the world.

Bioservo Technologies

Bioservo has created the Ironhand, a technological device that will help enhance natural grip strength to help people with issues with grip, or injuries. Why? To improve the quality of life for workers whose bodies are injured, are getting older, or have to perform tasks slightly outside of the employee’s strength.

Additionally, Bioservo wants to help create a better work environment for women, taking the average female employee and putting them on par, or superior to the opposite sex. A tool that can help employees and balance the workforce outside of natural or youthful strength.

What did you see from CEATEC that you can’t wait to get your hands on?
