SDCC 2018 First Look – Project Blue Book

In the very dead center of the Experience at San Diego Comic-Con lies History’s channel’s ‘Project Blue Book Headquarters’. The activation focuses on History Channel’s show of the same name.

The show focuses about the stories from the USA Government, and the tales people have told and have been unsolved with regards to reported alien contact. As one of the most mysterious eras of US history, the History Channel has decided to bring these stories to life with modern technology.

The activation includes and immersive experiences. Guests will be given credentials once the enter the first tent. Once they have clearance they will be allowed to report their own alien stories. If you do have a story, and report it, they will have a specialist sketch up your encounter for their file. Then you can pick up the sketch later that day.

Afterwards you are treated to a retelling of three files from the Project Blue Book. They are interesting, and make you question alien contact.

The last encounter is amazing. You are taken to a room were you are connected to a tablet that will allow you to send a message into space, with the hopes that one day an alien may read it. Don’t send your home address!

This event runs the length of the convention, with hours mirroring the convention times.
