Rochelle Stops By The Museum Of Love

Happy Valentine’s Day from all of us at Nerd News Social! Whether you celebrate or not, love weekend is here, and we want to share the perfect experience for you and your partner to celebrate your love – The Museum of Love.

Located in East Hollywood, Los Angeles, the Museum of Love takes you through a unique experience commemorating your relationship from where you met to where you’re going. Based upon the notion that “A couple that plays together stays together,” the museum showcases many different games to play as a couple. Guess which house your partner would ideally live in, play childhood bingo, learn each other’s love languages, see if your heart rates align, what would you take with you if you were stranded on a deserted island, and even venture into bedroom affairs without having to take your clothes off.

This is only a handful of games to expect. It even asks the hard questions like what are the last words you’d want to say to your partner if today was the last day together… yes, you can even see them in a casket, till death do you part. This place really turns up the heat and makes you ask those hard questions to each other. I learned a lot about not only my husband and our relationship but about myself too. It’s couple’s therapy without having to share your innermost feelings with a third party. Be open and honest, go with the flow, and this place will work wonders for you and your relationship, hopefully strengthening that bond between you.

Expect to spend approximately 2 hours here, but really there is no rush. Interact with each station and enjoy the museum at your leisure. I could honestly see spending an entire day here if you really wanted to. There is so much to explore.

Quick tips:

  • There is a parking lot behind the museum with ample spots.
  • A bathroom is available near the gift shop.
  • A complimentary memory book and pens are included.
  • The second phase of the museum has a tea and water station so you can refuel and keep the love connection going.
  • Celebrating you and your partner’s love shouldn’t be limited to Valentine’s day, what many refer to as a Hallmark holiday. This experience is perfect for any time of year. There are even fun holiday-themed events here so you can return and enjoy the museum in a slightly different way, like Mother’s Day, Pride month, Halloween, and Christmas. So don’t be afraid to return whenever you want!
