When I got married, my bride was very nerdy/geeky. We specifically crafted a fairy tale wedding, upon one of Dana Point’s beautiful Tall Ships, and themed the engagement after the Little Mermaid.
We knew exactly what we wanted, but having our nerdy wedding wasn’t easy, because there wasn’t someone there to help us find and master the nerdy steps along the way.
However, for our vistors to this site, we want to share a company we found while exploring Nerd Expo a bit a go.
Fandom Wedding Fair is a wedding prep convention that caters to a very specific crowd. Upon entering the Fandom Wedding Fair, there will be a runway themed after Alice in Wonderland and more, while music will be DJ’d by Waveform Events.
Fans of nerdy franchises like DC Comics, Marvel Comics, HBO’s Game of Thrones, Harry Potter, and the empire of Disney will be able to find not only items to theme up their wedding, but people specifically to help them achieve their perfect fandom based nuptial!
They will even have mini reception setup around the event, to showcase some fan favorite concepts. Gain suggestions from things as simple as floral decorations, all the way up to the bridal party attire.
The event also covers the traditional fair of wedding needs, at the event you will see a range of DJs and Musicians looking to make your special day, more magical.

Rules for Cosplay
This wedding fair is perfectly fine with, and encourages, the attendees to come dressed as their favorite characters. It will likely make it easier for vendors to know how better to suggest wedding ideas to you!
It’s definitely time for a wedding fair that caters to nerd themed weddings, I mean Vegas has been doing Elvis themed weddings forever!

The Fair takes place November 10, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. til 4:00 p.m.. Get your tickets for the event Here!
The first one hundred attendees will be welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine, and a special goody bag. If you arrive late, but still want a celebratory drink, you are planning a wedding, there will be two cash bars available at the fair.
Complimentary appetizers will be served throughout the fair. Attendees will get a raffle ticket, but must stay to the end of the fair to see if they won a prize, since you must be present to claim.
Planning to attend with your whole bridal party? Well people who purchase 6 or more tickets receive a free bottle of sparkling wine.
