Rochelle Visits The Dinos Alive Immersive Experience

Dinosaurs have forever captured the imagination. Have you ever wondered what it must have been like to walk with them, to watch them in their natural habitats? Dinos Alive in Montebello brings to life over 80 life-size dinosaurs for you to see.

Before we go into more details of the event, we want to remind people that we are still within the thralls of a pandemic, and recommend people check out our article on “If You Should Go Out” Here. At this event, they take Covid precautions seriously. All attendees must show proof of vaccination to attend for ages 12 and up. This event is family-friendly and COVID-safe.

Journey back through time to the Jurassic era, and meet the famous T-Rex, Velociraptor, Stegosaurus, and Pterodactyl. There are many opportunities to learn about lesser-known dinosaurs as well. You will hear their moans and groans, and watch them move their heads, limbs, and tails while the lights shift from day to night. See small segments of dinosaurs animated to live up the scenes. Wander inside a virtual aquarium where sea giants swim past you. Throw a ball and they just may interact with you too! There is so much to do here, and it’s a grand time for all ages. Feel like riding on a dinosaur? You can do that here too. Be a paleontologist and do some digging of your own. You can even immerse yourself in the VR technology and play fetch with a dino. Want something more relaxing? Crayons are available for you to color your own dinos, and simply scan them in to see your dino appear on-screen. My daughter loved this. She colored about 5 dinosaurs.

This hour-long experience is fun, educational, and interactive for kids and adults alike. Kudos to Exhibition Hub for an impressive job once again. While I would be running away from a T-Rex if I ever did meet one in real-life, I knew I had to run to this exhibit to get my dino fix! I recommend you do as well.
