Schofield, played by George MacKay, and Black, played by Dean-Charles Chapman, are embroiled within the first World War, at the time called The Great War, but now must embark on a mission that will likely kill them, but could save hundreds, including Blake’s brother.

I am not a fan of the glorification of war, but I am a fan of the showcasing of bravery, and selflessness, a trait that I feel is lost sometimes in modern day. That being said this movie is breathtaking in it’s cinematography.

Ip Man 4: The Finale – Releasing 12/25/19
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

The series is back for it’s fourth, and final film. Donnie Yen returns after the death of his wife, to head to San Francisco to ease tensions between the kung fu masters.

This series is well loved, and is an amazing showcase of fighting. If you loved the kung fu movies of old, this movie will really hit that feeling, while also showcasing a great story.

Little Women – Releasing 12/25/19
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 96%

The classic story returns to theater as four sisters, played by Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Eliza Scanlen, and Laura Dern, struggle to live their life on their own rules and terms.

This movie is made every five to ten years. It doesn’t mean that it isn’t good, but it can feel a bit… done to death. That being said this version is receiving rave reviews, and if this is a story that you wanted to show off to your children, then this version wouldn’t be a horrible version to show.

Photograph – Releasing 12/25/19
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – 79%

A photographer who can’t catch a break has been dealing with a lot of family pressure to grow up, and find a wife, turns to a complete stranger to help him pose as his fiancée, to get his loved ones off his case. He couldn’t have expected what would happen, as the pair actually grow closer.

With the holidays here, who hasn’t tried to convince a friend to pose as a significant other, to get our parents off our collective backs. Oh, that’s not as common as I think? Has TV and movies been lying to me all my life? That being said, it is an interesting concept that has been done quite a bit. It’s still worth watching, but don’t expect the reinvention of the wheel.

Spies in Disguise – Releasing 12/25/19
Rotten Tomatoes Reviewer Score – (None Available Yet)

Lance Sterling, played by Will Smith, is a spy, but even his skills can’t help him save the world this time. He must turn to the young scientist Walter Beckett, played by Tom Holland, for an ultimate disguise, but gets more than he expects when he is turned into a pigeon.

This animated series feels like an off the walls episode of Get Smart, part spy, part comedy, all ridiculous. That being said, the storyline will pull in your kids, but won’t leave parents too bored. You could do worse with a children’s movie, then this film.
