VETZ is the first music company that allows fans to invest in their favorite musical artists.
How does it work?
The really cool thing about this project is that you can even partner with major names. Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Jamie Foxx, and Chris Brown have all been on the program.
You can choose how much you want to invest, from $5 to $100,000. You get back your money and more over the course of the rights period listed on the ISO (Initial Song Offering) page.
If you invest, your picked creator is successful and royalties accrue, then you simply will have to wait 6 months, and then will be paid quarterly based on your support/investment until the period of time that the rights revert back to the original creator.
If you are an artist and want to be involved with this site on the opposite side of the transactions, check out this link HERE.
I think this is important to point out, no investment is guaranteed. It is always suggested to first, investigate an artist yourself before investing, and second, do not invest more then you can reasonably not care about losing (apply gambling rules).
While this is an amazing and interesting new way to support artists, make money, and feel connected, nothing is fool proof and if you walk in blind, you may be a fool.
