The Twin Suns Foundation came into existence because people were successful with the Expanded Universe Billboard Project. This Arizona-based non-profit formed in June of 2016. Their mission is to encourage literacy and spread the stories of Star Wars around the world.
One of their plans was to dedicate and push the creation and continuation of the Legends timeline in the novelization of Star Wars.
They don’t specifically want the Disney stories to be overwritten, or the Legends stories to be overwritten either. They want both stories to exist in the novelization, as they say, “Binary Tales, Eternally Shining.”
It’s for this reason that even though the world is suffering and locked inside, they have purchased two billboards in San Francisco, near where Lucasfilm has its headquarters. So if you are outside in San Francisco, disobeying the Stay In Place Order, for whatever reason, you might just happen to see this in your town!
