Tangle Sets Up A Virtual Office Space That’s Not Just Meetings

absurd:joy is right there with the majority of workers. We love the ability to work from home. They understand the needs of employers though that are unsatisfied with the failures of current webchat and meeting software, and the lack of virtual office’s abilities to promote office collaboration.

So with that in mind absurd:joy got to work from the ground up to make a solution. Their result? Tangle!

Tangle is a fun, and easy to use virtual workspace that is designed not only to optimize creativity, but to also allow a space that fosters agency, privacy, and comfort!

Tangle creates a workspace site, that has multiple users throughout the workspace map, represented by their desktop cameras. Due to it’s style though, you have a lot more opportunities then most other programs.

Want to walk into your co-worker’s office and chat for a second, like you would do in a real office? Then just drag your workspace into theirs, and chat.

See a meeting you should be in? Quickly and easily join a meeting by just clicking on the enter option above it.

Need some privacy, and want to be left alone? Close your door to prevent walk-ins. If only it was that easy in a real office!

The program has a lot of other features to that help out the workspace:

  • Easy screenshare options for collaborative work.
  • Avatars for the more camera shy employees.
  • Who is using Tangle? Companies like Bad Robot Games, Squanch Games, Lightforge Games, Skymap Games and more. But while this program works great in the gaming and creative field, it shouldn’t limit the more conventional offices from picking up and running with it!
