Strategicon’s Gateway Is Going Virtual

Strategicon normally runs the Gateway convention over labor day weekend, this year September 4th, 2020 through September 7th, 2020, but because of the fact that it’s still not safe for conventions to occur, especially ones when you have to sit in close proximity to play a game, they have once more gone virtual.

What is different though about this convention then the prior virtual one? Well, they are charging for this convention, but only $5, as a way to support their convention through the stress that is occurring from not being able to run it for a whole year.

Additional features of this convention are:

The Indie New Games department will connect attendees to the creator of games that aren’t even on the shelves.

The miniatures department will have a painting contest.

Play-to-Win games and watch-to-win games.
