We stopped by the Pennyworth experience thrown by Epix, which promised a taste of London’s Underworld. It delivered. Everything about the experience was awesome!
Instantly upon walking down the redlighted stairway, fans were transported to the 1960’s Oxford Social Club, where they could have a drink, smoke a chocolate cigar, play blackjack or take in a show.
However, if they wanted to venture forward, they could download the Epix streaming app, and gain a pin marking them as a member of the Raven Society. This allowed them to enter into the Library.
Upon entering the library, they could enjoy the finer things, from dining with a spy, to gaining a “personalized” poem. However while it’s not all cloak, there was some dagger as you could be found out by the bobbies as a member of the Raven Society, and tortured for information… or have a hell of a photo op!
You should definitly hit up this club, located north of the Pendry Hotel at 435 5th Ave, and it runs Thursday, July 18 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday, July 19 through Saturday, July 20 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
