Peacock Is NBC Universals Answer To Must Stream TV

Have you been excited about the new NBC Universal streaming app that was being whispered about in the background?

Well whisper no more as NBC has announced the name, and very little more, of their streaming service. Peacock, as it is called, is believed to launch in April, and due to their very expensive deals with Netflix will be the exclusive location of several shows that you love, including 30 Rock, Bates Motel, Battlestar Galactica, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Cheers, Chrisley Knows Best, Covert Affairs, Downton Abbey, Everybody Loves Raymond, Frasier, Friday Night Lights, House, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, King of Queens, Married With Children, Monk, The Office, Parenthood, Parks and Recreation, Psych, The Real Housewives, Royal Pains, Saturday Night Live, Saved by the Bell, Superstore, The Real Housewives, Top Chef, Will & Grace, and more.

NBC Universal has not listed a price yet, however they have stated that it’s possible that along with a premium paid subscription, there will be a second tier subscrition with advertising. Cause you know how much people like to pay to see ads… That beign said, if their side mouth promise for an “The Office” revival is true, Dunder Mifflin fans will surely pay it.

Speaking of revivals/reboots, there have been not only talk about revivals of Battlestar Galactica, Punky Brewster, and Saved by the Bell. But with regards to the Saved by the Bell revival/reboot, they have confirmed talks with Elizabeth Berkley and Mario Lopez, but Mark-Paul Gosselaar confirmed that no one has spoken to him yet.

If you have Netflix, and don’t want to pay more to get your “Jim and Pam” fix, then don’t fret because The Office is still on Netflix through the rest of the year.
