PAC-MAN Inducted Into The Comic-Con Museum Character Hall Of Fame

Another amazing achievement for PAC-MAN during its 40 anniversary. The first video game character to be inducted to Comic-Con Museum’s Character Hall of Fame. The inaugural and first inductee was Batman last year. This year it’s All PAC, all the time!

PAC-MAN was released on May 22, 1980, and became the first video game superstar. PAC-MAN immediately rose in popularity and it wasn’t just limited to the pop culture stage of video games. In the 1980s through the 1990s, he continued to make entertainment appearance after appearance. PAC-MAN most likely was so well-liked due to the fact that it required no specific knowledge or skill to jump in and play it.

A virtual induction ceremony will be taking place on December 17, 2020, and will cover PAC-MAN’s many accomplishments, records, and stories! You too can join the event by registering Here.

There is no cost to join the virtual event, but donations made to the Comic-Con Museum will net you some limited swag for the event, including pins, t-shirts, and more.
