Rochelle Previews Reindeer Road

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, especially at Reindeer Road at the Santa Anita Park in Arcadia. With Covid cases still on the rise so are drive-thru holiday events.

Before we go into the details of the events, we want to remind people that we are still within the thralls of a pandemic, and recommend people check out our article on ”If You Should Go Out” Here. In keeping with our promise within that article though, let’s talk about if this event is safe, especially with all the new variants.

So this event is all inside your car and is a drive-thru. As a result, this is one of the safer events this holiday season. As long as the people in your car are in your family you should be fine. If you lower your windows though, it’s not a horrible idea to make sure you put a mask on. Now back to the event.

World of Illuminations has various themed events in Georgia and Arizona as well, but if you’re in the Socal area be sure to check this out. Reindeer Road brings you a wonderland of color with bright lights synchronized to the jolly holiday music from a station of their own that you play on your radio.

Each themed area is intended to ignite the imagination and spark the human spirit. Drive by holiday favorites like snowmen and reindeer, Christmas trees and elves, gingerbread houses, and Santa’s Workshop at the North Pole. If you are so lucky you may even catch a glimpse of jolly old Saint Nick himself. Exploring each world at a leisurely 3MPH you certainly won’t miss a thing. And driving through the various tunnels is sure to amaze.

As you gawk at the colorful lights illuminating and moving around you, and perhaps dance along with the music playing over the stereo, the experience will surely fill your spirit with the magic of Christmas. It’s fun for the whole family. My two-year-old was so excited to see the lights, thus I was so excited to see her face light up with merriment. This event is happening now through Sunday, January 2nd, 2022, from 6 pm – 9:30 pm. Tickets start at $39 for weekdays.
