He snatches control of a drug lord’s business and makes it the most feared empire on the East Coast. When the DA places him in the eyes of a trial, his enemies will come for his throat. Now he will have to dole out street justice to those who betrayed him to find his way through.

If you are looking for a gritty and violent look that dramatizes the drug kingpin lifestyle, then watch this fantasy film covering the highlife, fall, and revenge of a criminal at his peak.

A series of events forces a couple, played by Sawyer Spielberg and Malin Barr, to seek shelter with an older woman, played by Barbara Kingsley, and her son in a rural location. They are pushed to their brink though when cravings and hallucinations haunt their mind.

Working in the field of justice, Jian, played by Ken Zheng, is a counter-terrorism agent using clairvoyance and martial arts to take down criminals. However, when his brother dies in Los Angeles, he needs to investigate the alleged suicide.

Looking for an action film this week with some foreign style, then this film fits that bill and will give you some adrenaline. Check out this awesome and interesting film.


Long Weekend

Bart, played by Finn Wittrock is a writer who can’t catch his break. When he stumbles upon Vienna, played by Zoë Chao, the two fall for each other and engage in a crazed weekend. However are they good for each other, or will they just push each other over the edge?

Romantic movies always find an audience, but this film looks to play a dangerous game with the narrative about love being a building force or destructive force in people’s life. I always say, build your foundation, before you try to build a home with someone, but maybe that’s just me. If you are looking for a romantic movie to get lost in this week though, this is your movie!

In a hotel, the newest employee Eric, played by Nick Leali, finds the one haunted room. However, when he decides the ghost has to be removed, he discovers it’s not that easy when he gets to know the ghost more.

If you are looking for more of a spiritual movie, you might be pleasantly surprised by this film. It’s a mix of horror and comedy and provides a pretty impressive story with its independent budget.
