Midnight, Texas is a TV show coming very shortly to NBC. Like Showtime did with True Blood, NBC has worked with Charlaine Harris to bring to life another of her amazing series of books.
To that end NBC transformed Tinfish in the Gaslamp district once more. Tinfish is a popular location for NBC because of how close it is in comparison to the convention center. While still operating as a restaurant, they also have Tarot card readings, and a walk through experience. Midnight, Texas is home to a lot of interesting places and the walk through experience houses a couple of them. Including: Pawn Shop, Fiji’s house, Tattoo Parlor, Olivia’s Armory, and a pet cemetery, ending with a battle royal and explosive explanation of the plot of the show.
Each room of the walk through is designed to immerse fans and tickle their interest in the world of Midnight Texas.
Once you finish walking though the experience you will be able to select one of a couple options, and then be transformed, in a shareable GIF, into one of the freaks of Midnight, Texas.
Also hidden through out the experience is secret Snapcodes. Scanning them will unlock links, filters, videos, and more.
For the rest of the weekend you can visit this activation from 10 A.M. to 6 P.M..
While lots of people were fans of the Grimm show, it’s important to note. This show is not designed specifically to be a replacement for Grimm. It is a fun and exciting story which if done and continued properly, has the ability to fit that itch for fans, and then to pull them in with it’s storylines.
