A great bit of news during pride month, as Legendary Comics strives to create larger representation in the market place, as they create a story focusing around a transgender parapsychologist, trying to keep herself researching, as her grant is about to run out. The main character, Joy Ravenna, finds new opportunity in an heiress who has a ghost problem, and money to spare for a solution. The journey takes her through the world of the paranormal, while also covering the strain of the character’s ex-wife and her first post-transition relationship.
Lilah Sturges, Eisner and GLAAD award-nominated writer, having worked on Jack of Fables and Lumberjanes, takes the helm on the story, while Alitha E. Martinez, Eisner award-winner, having worked on Black Panther: World of Wakanda, takes the reigns on the art.
The graphic novel will be available in brick and mortar stores, and available online, in the Summer 2021.
