A Short Guide For Long Beach Comic Expo 2020

Long Beach Comic Expo has come back to Long Beach, and will run from January 11, 2020 through January 12, 2020.

Tickets are still available and can be accessed Here!

If you can’t make it to this convention, but are interested, then don’t fret the con’s sister convention runs later in the year.

Small showcase on some vendors we love at the con:

FVF COMICS
This is a comic’s expo, and it would be a horrible thing for us to not shout out our friend FVF Comics. If you are looking for some collectible comics, then you should stop by their booth, and check out what they bring to the convention!

WILD BILL’S SODA
If you follow our exploits with other conventions, you might be aware that we are a huge fan of Wild Bill’s Soda. They have an amazing selection, and a brilliant plan for the convention. For the price of usually one or two con sodas you can have unlimited refills of their delicious root beers. If you are heading here, then purchase one of their awesome cups. You wont regret it.

Other points of interest:

Cosplay Contest
Like most conventions, Long Beach Comic Expo loves their cosplayers. They have a contest celebrating the work and skill of those who cosplay.

Within their contest they will have awards for people in these categories:

  • Best Fabrication
  • Best Construction
  • Best Hero
  • Best Villain
  • Best Sci-Fi
  • Best Anime
  • Best Group or Couple
  • Best Kid
  • Best Space-Theme
  • If you want to get involved, make sure you register on the site before hand to be able to participate!

    Geek Fest Film Festival

If you want to support the independent film industry, then you can always patronage the Film Festival of the convention, or if you are feeling more adventurous with your ideas, then create your own to submit!
