Krypton has been greenlit by Syfy.
Just when you thought that DC couldn’t have enough shows all over the place, comes another network, with another DC Show!
Much like how everyone is only making prequels, DC is not going to be left in the dust. If they can do so while still not making a show that focuses on Bruce Wayne or Clark Kent, then more power to them.
That’s right another Kryptonian show is coming out, and surprise, this one also does not have Superman at the forefront.
The show focuses on the El family on Krypton two generations before Superman. So not even a chance for him to be in the show. Who knows maybe someone might be a psychic and predicts the future of the DC universe…
The show will have Superman’s grandfather fighting to save his people. So yeah, Krypton was dying for over 60-80 years, and a species capable of space flight didn’t just straight up leave the planet.
I can only imagine the show is going to be a comedy. One thing is sure though, it’ll likely get cancelled, end up on the CW and somehow get worked into the Arrowverse.
