In 2004, the world was changed when Katamari Damacy was released on Playstation 2. In the game players were supposed to correct the mistakes of their father, by collecting everything they could on Earth in a rolling clump of everything they could grab. The orb would grab larger things, as it got larger, forcing players to strategically roll it to collect items as they grew it in size.
Since the release of the game, people have loved this game, inspiring cosplay even still to this day.
In 2018, the game was remastered and released on PC and Switch as Katamari Damacy Reroll, but now it’s finally coming to the other consoles. On November 20, 2020 the Dashing Prince will be re-rolling into your house on the Playstation 4 and the Xbox One.
While we are sad that this means it will not be coming to the PS5 or the Xbox One X Series, hopefully they will correct that or more information will change it as it gets closer to it’s release date.
