The dates of next year’s Fringe Festival, the eleventh for Hollywood, has already been picked, so mare your calendars! While the festival will take place between June 11, 2020 and June 28, 2020, they will also have some opportunities leading up to the event.
They will hold previews for the festival on June 4, 2020 through June 9, 2020, and hold an Opening Night Party on June 10, 2020.
Want to know a little more about what makes Hollywood Fringe Festival?
Every year in June for the last 11 years Fringe has come to Hollywood, taking over theaters, parks, clubs, and multiple locations throughout the city. Almost anyone can participate in the Festival, as an attendee or a even a person putting on a play!
All you need is an idea, and the will to put the play together!
As a non-profit, Fringe Festival gives 100% of it’s revenue to the artists and venues, with the festival not taking a cut.
Hollywood Fringe isn’t the only Fringe though. Fringe is all over the world, and was created in on the fringes of the Edinburgh International Festival, in Scotland during their 1947 festival.
It was well loved, and continued to grow every year.
