Playable demos of the newest game, an impressive museum featuring the rich and storied history of the game’s world, and interactive events that put you into the shoes of Master Chief himself, this weekend-long event did not disappoint fans of the critically-acclaimed Halo series.
Halo: Outpost Discovery had a wonderful tour around the U.S. and we got to enjoy the VR multiplayer called Training Grounds, a full laser tag arena on the Combat Deck, and even experience what life would be like on The Ring itself.
Even though some of the Halo games are rated Mature, this event is family friendly and a wonderful experience for both veterans and newbies alike.
With kids in tow, you can rest assured that there’s plenty of action for them, too! The Nerf room will be a blast, they can take part in the Minecraft Build Challenge, or head over to Tinker’s room to learn to code. Long-time fans will get to have a meet and greet with Master Chief and Cortana (or at least their voices), hang out with authors learn how to build their own armor with the 405th and Anvil Station.
