They dove right in with the opening sequence for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, and expanded on the game a little more.
Lara tries to stop a Mayan apocalypse (that she probably started). She “becomes one with the jungle” to defeat her enemies, making the gameplay very reminiscent of the Batman Arkham games (down to my favorite part: screwing with the bad guys and making them paranoid). This game will likely cause my husband to yell his usual line: “Not everything has to be a stealth mission!” Well, sir, looks like you’re wrong in this one. Lara is out-manned and out-gunned in this game, so you need to rely on your wits and the element of surprise. I’ll dub this game Metal Batsassin’s Creed: Raiding the Jungle of Gotham. And I’m gonna play the hell out of it.

Stormblood: FFXIV Online has a new patch called Under the Moonlight.
Lots of cool enemies, a castle in the literal worst spot ever, giant flying machines, and new quests. Available now.
Final Fantasy x Monster Hunter World crossover trailer, whaaaaaat?
According to the website, you can only access the Monster Hunter stuff after finishing up the Stormblood quest lines. It’s coming this Summer, so if you’re not there yet, you better get cracking!
Captain Spirit made another debut here. It looks like you might have actual super powers in this game? He manifests a costume on himself… and I’m not entirely convinced it’s imagination.

Babylon’s Fall trailer
Great, action-packed dark fantasy-style trailer didn’t offer a ton of info. But it did mention some wars that occured, eventually leading to a time of peace and prosperity. After a while, The Awakening created “nomads” which go up against a great evil. This is all very vague and mysterious, and I can’t wait to hear more about it when they’re ready.

Just Cause 4 trailer
Enjoy the vast and beautiful (fictional) South American country of Solis. The leader of the Black Hand, Gabriella, permits and encourages oppression under her rule. You also face extreme weather conditions, such as tornadoes, sandstorms, lightning storms, and blizzards. Rico’s grapple has been overhauled completely, so it’s more intuitive and fully customizable. Improved combat and enemy AI, more intricate and evolved combat system, and of course nicer graphics. Just Cause 4 releases December 4th 2018.
The Quiet Man trailer
Holy cow, the people in this look real, in the cut scenes. That’s pretty incredible. And adding in a deaf main protagonist is really cool! In August, Square Enix will release more info about this game.
And Square Enix closed up with the wonderful epic, Kingdom Hearts.
