E3 – Day 2, Sunday June 10th – Devolver Digital Conference

DEVOLVER DIGITAL
Started with a bang (and a murder) and ended with one.

It was led in by Nina Struthers (Mahria Zook), Chief Synergy Office for Devolver Digital’s Big Fancy Press Conference. Nina came in with a great, violent intro, laying into all the people on the internet who shamed DD for a subpar E3 conference last year, calling all this stuff garbage and shaming us, the nerds, for consuming it.

Roll the garbage!

Scum Season 2 trailer.

3x the drones, seeing a dude pooping in the woods, and of course the same thriller aspect that you’re used to. And Mr. Smiles helps enforce the rules of the open-world survival game, as always! Steam has early access, but release is in August 2018.

Devolver Digital created a disgusting lovechild of loot boxes and cryptocurrency and dubbed it LootBoxCoin.

It’s a physical coin that has no monetary value, and purchasing one of these limited edition worthless items doesn’t even have a set cost. Click here to check out the purchase site and see that the price changes every hour on the hour for no reason at all.

My Friend Pedro reminds me of every fight Deadpool has been in. It’s weird, it’s funny, it’s bloody, and there are bananas. Coming to Switch and PC in 2019.

And finally, we saw the Metal Wolf Chaos XD trailer. It was short, but exciting. Lots of mechs rushing through buildings and causing general destruction. It launches on Xbox One, PS4, and PC later this year. Go to MechAmericaGreatAgain.com for more info.

And that’s it for Day 2 of E3! What a great ride! Lots of awesome new titles to look forward to, and not enough money in my wallet to afford them all.

See you tomorrow for Day 3!
