New Comic Highlights for January 2022

There are a lot of comic books coming out next month, and the last Comics Round-Up of the month is dedicated to what is coming out the following month. So here are some of the comics I am looking forward to, that are coming out next coming month!


Monkey Meat #1 (from Image Comics)
Releasing January 5th, 2022
Monkey Meat is a company that sold meat all over the world, and they took their money to obtain an island and run it similar to how Andrew Ryan ran Rapture. It’s a hellscape of experiments and weird inhabitants. This series is an anthology set, so take into consideration that every issue will be its own story. Created by Juni Ba.


Pantha #1 (from Dynamite Comics)
Releasing January 5th, 2022
After an Egyptian Queen treated her people so cruelly that a goddess punished her with a curse to turn her into a savage beast, she pushed herself away from everyone. However, when a person starts to kill the gods, Pantha will return to aid them under the condition that she can have the curse removed. Written by Tom Sniegoski and Jeannine Acheson, with art from Igor Lima.


Daredevil: Woman Without Fear #1 (from Marvel Comics)
Releasing January 12th, 2022
A tie-in to Devil’s Reign, Elektra has to step into the shoes of Daredevil. However, can Elektra keep her promise to avoid killing? However, when a person places themselves in Elektra’s path, will murder be her only option? Written by Chip Zdarsky with art from Rafael de Latorre.


The Scorched #1 (from Image Comics)
Releasing January 12th, 2022
The world of Spawn has a new threat, and only one hero can’t possibly stand a chance against it. So the only option is for them to form a team of some of the most popular figures from Spawn’s world including Spawn, Redeemer, Gunslinger Spawn, Medieval Spawn, She-Spawn, and more to be revealed. Writen by Sean Lewis with art from Stephen Segovia and Paulo Siqueira.


Cowboy Bebop #1 (Titan Books)
Releasing January 19th, 2022 – Pushed Back From December 8th, 2021
Set in the year 2171, follow the famous crew from the anime and canceled Netflix series, as they chase an ex-gang member with a special vest that can grant its wearer unlimited luck. Enjoy even more love with this amazing crew. This is your last chance to see more Cowboy Bebop after fans paned the series so hard, they got the live-action canceled. Created by Dan Watters, with art from Lamar Mathurin.
