When we went to CES we didn’t want to bring business cards anymore. There is so much of a risk of taking cards and other items directly from the hands of people from around the world. One such company like Popl is creating a solution to these types of issues.
On top of Popl cards and dots to replace the need for business cards, the company has created bracelets and retailer pads. The application even allows additional features like a direct connection to pay services for small businesses.
The device uses an NFC tag that connects to their network, which allows users to change or swap out the device while a regular NFC tag is a one-time use, and not rewriteable.
