September 21, 2019 is Batman day, and how is Los Angeles celebrating? Well by running from the masked vigilante!
Come decked out in your running clothes, or if you are more adventurous, your favorite Batman outfit!
The runner check in takes place from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at City Hall on September 21st, 2019, then the run starts at 6:00 p.m..
As you are there, waiting for the event to start, there will be Live music, jumbotrons playing content, special photo ops and selfies opportunities with Batman cosplay/impersonators.
And a big countdown to the time the run starts!
The run will have live music throughout the course, Batman-themed scenery, and professional photographers to capture you along the way!

Once the race is over, the downtown area will be taken over by an awesome concert, refreshments, food trucks, beer garden, more live music, the Batmobile, Batman cosplay/impersonators, and a kid friendly section for the small fans.
They even will have the City Hall lit up with the Batsignal!
However, they know not everyone can be in Los Angeles, or is ready to run, so to help out with that, they are openning the event to a virtual run!
To be able to participate in the Virtual Run, you can buy your admission Here, and you will have to either run or walk the 3.1 Miles of the 5K on Saturday, September 21st, 2019 for however long you want to do it, or where ever you want to do it.
After the event is over, they will send you your shirt and medal.
This is the honor system, but lets not fool ourselves, Batman will know if you lie.
