A&E Brings New Documentary Series About Serial Killers

Serial Killers are always a hotbed topic in America. There is an inherent desire to learn more about them built in the dark sections of our souls. It’s the reason true crime podcasts and murder mystery series are so successful throughout the world. The hit series Dexter is even coming back for a new season after 8 years. A&E is joining in on the obsession with two new series touching on the subject of Serial Killers and those they leave in their wake.

Invisible Monsters: Serial Killers in America will premiere on August 15, 2021 at 9:00 p.m., and will focus on five different serial killers: Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy, Jeffrey Dahmer, The Green River Killer, and BTK. All five were active at the same time. The series will talk about them and the two decades of murder. How they were able to operate for so long, and how so many serial killers could be active at once in the USA. Invisible Monsters: Serial Killers in America will take place over a three-night event, each episode lasting two hours, totaling 6 hours of Serial Killer coverage.

I Survived a Serial Killer will premiere on August 18, 2021 at 9:30 p.m., and instead of focusing on the Serial Killers, this series will talk to the victims who survived and allowed them to tell their stories and how they survived. The series will run twelve 30-minute episodes and discuss survivors from famous killers like Andrew Urdiales, Richard Beasley (The Craigslist Killer), Angel Resendiz (The Railway Killer), and David Parker Ray (The Toy Box Killer).
