Airbnb Makes New Plans After COVID-19 Shuts Down Any Potential Business

Let’s be honest, no one is traveling, and some people were reliant on airbnb to pay their bills, and be able to feed their family. Some of those people are the actual workers of airbnb!

In a way to switch gears, to support their gig-economy, while also giving their company some meaning in the meantime, the app has switched from hosting tenants, to hosting experiences!

Users can create jobs similar to Fiverr, but instead of a job you submit, these are video hangouts with the person to learn about the skills or options they are offering.

The types of expriences you can receive are:

  • Talk to experts in fields.
  • Discuss experiences with people who have done them.
  • Video instructionals from experts.
  • Musical performances.
  • Spiritual Divination.
  • Exercise guiding.
  • Learn new skills.
  • The jobs range anywhere from $4 an hour to $65 an hour, with some events with a set period of time.

We’ve even pulled a couple of them out that we think are the best.
